I saw one throw to him an the announcers called him "Juice" Wells. I guess he has taken on a new name.

He did enter the game as the SECs leader in receptions and yardage, but “Juice” is surely not the leader after finishing the Georgia game with a big “zero.” Maybe he had one too many milkshakes before the game. 03-lmfao

Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey about to get some more playing time...

Looks like Overshown's arrest was back in December, he did some pretrial settlement thing over the summer and the "arrest" on Monday was a courthouse formality to get everything in the system. The only thing that is going to keep him from playing this weekend is his first half suspension for targeting this past weekend.

Either way DTD is getting some playing time and had a pretty good game on Saturday. I think he had 4 solos, 1 1/2 tackles for loss and a sack.

Might explain their late push to target DTD and build depth at LB.

RE: Portal/transfers
Looks like Antonio Colclough s headed into the portal. Came in as a transfer with hopes of being an impact player but is most remembered for a bad penalty that kick-started SHSUs turnaround in that fateful semifinal playoff game.

Can't say I'm surprised. We were down two guys on the DL last game. Kromah was ill and Kamara has a mystery injury. Yet Colclough didn't play. I think we went with 6 lineman all game. Green got decent minutes and I believe Funk got in for a few plays but that was it.

I know the transfer rules are like the wild Wild West nowadays but you can’t transfer in the middle of the season can you?

You can put yourself out there at any time, teams now can eye him up for the early signing period at the end of the 1st semester so he could show up on their campus in January.

Just imagine someone doing the “12 teams in one season challenge.” Every week transferring to a different school!

This will all change next year with the there being certain windows where the portal is open. I'm sure a player can still tell his current coach hey I am going to transfer so don't ruin my redshirt, but the portal itself will not be open.

Edit - Interesting to note:
#1 Ali Jennings (ODU via 2 years at WVU) 13-322-3
#7 Tory Horton (Colorado St via 2 years at Nevada) 15-255-4
#8 Bryce Ford Wheaton (WVU) 20-249-4

WVU and JMU signed 4 of the current top 10 receivers.

Jennings at ODU via WVU I think is good

Jennings is now #2 with 688 yards in 5 games and his 138 YPG is #1. I'm guessing he gets a 5th year, with a little development from Wolffe during that time and he won't be one I look forward to playing.

Thornton has fallen to #21 for receiving yards, but 18 of those above him have an extra game. He is 7th in yards per game (103 YPG).

Wells still #1 for SC but has fallen to #84 total yards (375) and #99 YPG (63)

Looks like the Cocks went from smoothie machines to juice boxes…

Stats through 9 games are 37-464 and 2 TDs. I would’ve expected the totals to be higher considering he had two big games 8-189-1 at Arkansas and 4-110-1 at Vandy.

PS: forgive my stats that may be wrong, I took them directly from the Cocks website which now when I look at them don’t add up. Seems they spent the money on a smoothie machine instead of a calculator.

Shouldn't it be "Shake" Wells intstead of "Juice"?
