Who would you like to see on the schedule for out of conference?

A lower level P5 school like Rutgers or K State

I'm good with all except the first one. I don't like playing (or in any way crossing paths) with the in-state schools. It's just not fun for me. I don't like having conversations with their fans who don't seem to understand or appreciate how much more money they have over most schools, nor acknowledge how lucky they are to be in that situation (in MS no less!).

I agree with all except Ole Miss. Their fans tend to behave like Alabama fans but not to the enormous degree the Crimson Turds do. For one they don't have as much to crow about. No problem playing MS State. State will come to the Rock.

I would not play any P5 team that will not do a home and away or at least a 2 for 1. This includes the big boys. Bama, LSU, Auburn. Of the P5 I would also consider ACC teams particularly FSU. Again, only if we get a home game.

La Tech would be okay, but if it is a rivalry (?) not sure we need a pressure game if we are going to try to win the title in a rising conference.

Need an FCS game early as even the P5s do it. Jackson State is a sellout. Alcorn is a good draw. Never play an FCS away.

Not crazy in general about being in the Belt. I recognize we killed our own chances to be in a stronger situation and the Belt will do. I do like the idea of games being accessible. In Dothan I have the 6 home games at the Rock. Troy is within an hour, So Ala about 3 1/2. I believe Ga Southern is an acceptable drive. So, if everything worked out I could make 9 games.

Just cautiously optimistic we will make good progress next season.

Anyway, I am on board.

I like this list. Add MS State and any P5 that will come to the Rock to make the list perfect.
