Miami has money so this is a moot point. According to the last Equity in Athletics report Miami spent $49 million on football compared to $56 million by Clemson. I can't imagine $7m making a huge difference. The also showed $115m in total revenue.

I imagine Miami university also has deeper pockets than Clemson. Clemson probably has a larger alumni base and IPTAY can generate more money but it's not like Miami is poor.
