A little surprised to read that Western Kentucky is favored by 3.5 points tonight over UTSA in the C-USA championship game. And the game is being played in San Antonio, in what may be a packed house. That tells you what the oddsmakers think of the Roadrunners.

I am guessing that WKU would have been favored over us as well, if we had held on to beat UTSA.

WKU is the best team in the league right now and one of the hottest teams in the country. Not really surprised; I picked them to win the East. Their offense is on another level and their D has always had some playmakers. I do think that line is overreacting a bit to UTSA's terrible game last week and also isn't giving UNT enough credit for their turnaround. UNT has played like the 4th or 5th best team in the league for about a month, and boy did they show it against flat UTSA.

UTSA has a more complete and deeper roster but I don't think they'll be able to slow down the WKU offense much. UTSA's chances probably come down to turnovers and whether Harris can ply another game like he did vs. UAB. That crowd could make a difference too.

WKU is gonna score on almost anybody but I do think we would have had a good chance to beat them by running the ball and winning the LOS.

I picked WKU to win and cover, though. The unfortunate part about that is that the narrative is probably going to end up being how UTSA collapsed as a fraud instead of noticing that WKU is a damn good team right now.

I'll be pulling for UTSA. Would rather our future AAC mate win than a remaining CUSA team.

Every game WKU has lost, 4 to be exact, has been close except for the Michigan State game. They have won the last 7 games fairly handily. I believe they are the hotter team right now.

Not sure who to take in this game.

That was my point, though I forgot to use the blue font. it seems that everybody believed it was a foregone conclusion that if we had gone for it, we would have made it. Second guessing always works that way, but that's not how it works in real life.

No - no one assumes we would've made the first down, even though that was the overwhelmingly most likely outcome. It was still would've been the right decision to go for it, no matter happened. Epic blunder.

And UTSA just went for it on 4th and 3 at the 50. Made it. Scored later in the drive and likely put the game away. UTSA was being passive and WKU started to come back. UTSA goes back to being aggressive and they score.
