Mike aresco is saying in interviews that UC and Houston being in the championship is bittersweet because they both are leaving. But the point he makes is actually really good. That both teams did a lot for the aac, but the aac did a lot for both teams. Without our espn exposure and being in this conference both programs could have trended downward the last few years if they weren’t in the aac.

I think that’s very true, and I think seeing the UTSA posts the aac is going to do a lot for that program, as well as UNT. Both teams could really build their programs in this conference.

Btw $70 million capital campaign for athletic facilities just launched a few days ago. A good portion of that amount already secured. I think new basketball arena and baseball stadium upgrades are next after this current $70 mill campaign.

Oh I get your point, It's just that I have "ZERO" confidence that the CFP will be fair!... CFP equates to "open collusion".

I've never pulled for Baylor before but man...during that last goal line stand my heart was racing. I know why UC, UCF, & UH are eager to get out but this year proves the sky is the limit for the AAC. I really think UC can make some noise, particularly if the can get that #3 spot now.
