I just don't know why the Space Connection between UH and UCF was never exploited in designing game day unis like they are for this game.

I am excited about the possibility of CLT playing Navy soon. It sounds like Navy will be in the West Division so I am not sure when that might happen, but I want to be there. My FIL was in the Navy for 30 years and it would bring a special twist to the game. He was actually stationed at the Naval Academy for a couple of years, so it would be fun for us to go to a game there. While I will want to win the game, I don't know how anybody can pull against our service academies.

Well, it's hard, but don't think Navy players are completely pure and innocent... The argument is that its just the style of their play (veer offense) and not due to deliberate "dirty" play, but just about every AAC team has a player has a close call or goes down to knee injuries during games with Navy.

But at the end of the day, these kids are going to defend our nation instead of going on to possible NFL careers, so it's never viewed as being deliberate.

I feel a little disappointed I made mention of it, but its happened.

Yes! Believe it or not, there's already a tangible rivalry within the two NASA centers (JSC and KSC)... I've experienced it!

Maybe the players don't know it, but both communities know about their own local NASA tie, and each side already has a reason to want to beat the other team, so it would take little effort to extend this NASA rivalry to the two institutions that provide many engineering graduates for both centers.

I do think we should kickoff a nice Space Game with UH as well. I believe we have a nice little rivalry brewing with you guys starting back in the C-USA days. Could be something to tout moving over to the B12.
