SBC women's volleyball in postseason
The SBC has two teams competing in postseason tournaments:
NCAA Tournament
South Alabama (25-6) vs. Miami FL (24-4) - Dec 2 at 4:30pm - ESPN+
NIVC Tournament
Troy (17-12) vs. Middle Tennessee (9-11) - Dec 3 at 7:30pm - ESPN+
NOTES:
* South Alabama has an RPI of #49
* Miami (FL) has an RPI of #11.
* South Alabama finished as the SBC champs, with their best win coming against #50 Texas State.
* Miami finished tied for 2nd place in the ACC, with their best win being over #19 FSU.
* Troy goes into the NIVC Tournament as one of the regional hosts, with MTSU, UNC-Greensboro, and North Florida playing on-site.
* Troy has notable wins over Alabama, LSU, and Virginia Tech during the regular season.

I hate it when programs do that. Troy's softball team did that a couple of years ago when they were invited to the NISC. UTA wound up going instead and actually won the NISC title... could've been Troy...
