Jans is probably under a 10-day quarantine with no outside contact. So, he is not going to be anywhere near his players in the interim. UVU hosting #12 Brigham Young tonight at 7 MT. Its on ESPN +, but a better choice is the free BYU TV. Pregame started at 6:30 MT on BYUTV. Probably the highest ranked team a WAC program hosts this year.

Game is a sell out, and one of the first chances most will have had to see the UCCU Center after it's $5 million renovation.

Both teams are on 6 game winning streaks. Brigham Young has played few road games this season while UVU has played mostly on the road this year.

Woodbury, UVUs leading scorer last season is still out with a knee injury.

UVU has 3 former Cougars, while Brigham Young has 3 former Utah Valley coaches. For those that may be new to the conference, Brigham Young and Utah Valley are located just a couple of miles and a few stoplights from each other.

Tight, hard fought, physical contest. Brigham Young up 24-22 at the half. Brigham Young has done an excellent job of denying Aimaq the ball. He's still rebounding like hell though.

A little disappointed in our defense tonight, but we still took care of business and worked on our rotations. Final score is 108-65. We finally play another DI game on Saturday against UIW. It's not a good DI game, but at least back up to DI.

I think we played everyone who showed up in a Jersey the last three games, but some of the new guys showed improvement.

UIW is hot right now. They just beat Our Lady of the Lake for their first win.

I am liking that our new guys are getting playing time. Gai did better with his ball handling tonight.

55 fouls between the two teams, three of our starters fouled out, lots of bodies hitting the floor, and a surprisingly loud section of Corpus fans in our stands.

Wow, what a game! What a great win for the WAC and what a program builder for Utah Valley. Nothing better than beating your biggest rival at home in front of a sellout crowd, while they are undefeated and ranked that high.

Justin Harmon is a force to contend with in the WAC. The kid is good and getting better. Aimaq was amazing once he got going. 24 [/i]points and 22 rebounds.

AMAZING win for UVU and the WAC!!

Cogratulations UVU. Maybe that #2 rating was not out of line.
