If Cincy and Oklahoma State make the playoff that would be massive. No one could say anything about us in football if the new Big 12 gets two members in. That would be massive. Rooting for you both along with the rest of the Big 12 bros!

Should be in along with GA, Al, and either Mich or ND depending on tonights B10 result. I wouldn't doubt them screwing Cincy, but that is just what it would be.

I don't think they have an out now. This was a great game tonight between two fantastic future B12 teams. Great game Houston. Now only one thing left to do - win the whole ******* thing!

Yeah I think it is pretty hard not to put Cincy in. Good for AAC and future B12.

Congrats Cincy! The top 4 this year is obvious & Cincy is absolutely one of them.

Thanks, y'all! Wish Baylor or Oklahoma State was in there with us, but we'll do our best to represent the future Big 12 with pride.

In the 136 year history of Cincinnati college football (1885), this has to be one of the finest moments ever. Considering Cincinnati's performance last year against Georgia in which a last second 53 yard field goal was necessary to win (last year just an indication), we learned we can play with anyone including highly regarded SEC school. I believe fully that our players and coaches are in the college football playoff to win it. We have a serious chance to be national football champions !!!! Thanks to all on this board for support from the old friends to the new Big 12 friends.

It's a sad Monday here in Houston (don't get me started on the Texans), but UH still had a very good season and there's no shame in that loss. Being runner-up sucks, but Cincinnati was just too good of a team to overcome.

BYU dropping in the polls so that Utah and Pitt can be in the top 12 so that the Committee can look good and say "All the NY6 Bowl participants are in the top 12" shows where their intentions lie. So congrats to Cincinnati for giving the Committee no choice except to put them in. Wish you luck against Alabama.

No shame at all. You guys moved the ball with some great drives against an elite defense in the first half, and I think the game would have been a 4-quarter nail biter on a neutral field. The future is bright in Houston -- hopefully this season will bring some recruiting wins and help build the depth and talent of your roster as we step up in competition in 2023.

Yep, it's BS, and I agree. Congrats on a great season though -- knowing you beat the Pac-12 champion Utes has to be a great feeling!

Houston deserved a high bowl bid that Birmingham vs Auburn.
