We had the pleasure of hosting this wonderful person and his girlfriend (a bikini model, no less) at our place in the Texas Hill Country for a long weekend. He came out to the firepit and played for the guests at the time for about 35 minutes --- a really memorable night. He composes almost all of his own work.

I'm a big Metallica guy.

I find that I don't listen to St. Anger, Death Magnetic, or Hardwired much, though.

One of the first cassette tapes I ever owned was Ride the Lightning. "Fade to Black" was one of my favorite songs as a kid.

But now at 37, I find myself gravitating more towards the Black Album & Load.
