According to the Verbal Commits website, the following players have either committed or signed with WAC schools for the 2022-23 season...

Isaiah Barganier (6'7, 230, HS) from Houston, TX has signed with UT Rio Grande Valley. He also had interest from New Mexico State among others.

Dubem Muoneke (6'5, 215, HS) from Houston, TX has signed with Abilene Christian.

Dannie Smith (6'6, 215, JC) from Chicago, IL has signed with Stephen F. Austin. He is currently attending New Mexico JC.

Jai'Vion Seat (6'3, 217, HS) from Edmond, OK has signed with Abilene Christian.

Adante’ Holiman (5'9, 158, HS) from McAlester, OK has committed to UT Rio Grande Valley. Holiman is a former 4-star, current 3-star HS prospect who had offers from Arizona State, DePaul and Tulsa among others.

Currently we are in the middle of the 2021 Fall Signing Period for basketball (Nov. 11th thru Nov. 18th).

I was actually hoping that, with our recent successes, we could get more 6'7" - 6'10" guys over 200 lbs. I think those are still prime rib though for the P5. I know we look for guys that fit our style of play.

He's good. Won a state championship at Las Cruces High. Plays with Deuce Benjamin, another D1 recruit. Deuce's dad is a former NMSU player and the head coach at Las Cruces High.

That being said, I think there is a better center up in ABQ, Jose Murillo.

He hasn't signed yet. He had offers from several P5 schools.

Somehow he grew another 3" for our signing. Doctors really ought to prescribe press releases, they're more effective than growth hormones.

I think the Aggies have to wait to see how many scholarships they have to offer since there are some juniors who might return for their 5th year since last year didn't count. I'm praying Allen and Rice come back another year.

JC Transfer Ronald Mitchell (6'3, 170, Soph, Guard) has committed to Sam Houston State. The Philly native is currently averaging 17.6 ppg and 4.9 rpg at Colby CC. He played at UMass-Lowell before transferring to Colby CC.
