I have been extremely busy today so I haven’t been able to post the usual game thread. I will get it up as soon as I can in the morning.

They are actually attacking the rim, I like this get some inside pressure to open the outside.

Nevermind, nice flurry but back to not being able to finish at the rim.

I figured it would be ugly but 25.9% from the field is not all good defense by Tennessee, lots of bad shots, and several misses of good shots.

Not seeing any semblance of an offense. Meanwhile Chandler is the real deal.

This ETSU team appears to be a middle-of-the-pack SoCon team.

Just totally outmatched in this one. No contest really. Tennessee is the real deal and Chandler is really good

Could be true, but a long time before conference play,
Could be a bottom tier SoCon team. A lot of SoCon teams have been making some noise OOC.
Could turn out this Tennessee team is just that damn good.

At least you won't have to worry about another stupid Bartow like call to lose it at the end of the game, you should be happy.

I am not happy with a team under performing like this. I want the program to be better than this because we can. This is not acceptable. One of many embarrassments this year I fear.

Geez I try to find you a silver lining but you just have to dwell on the negative.
I will leave to wallow in your embarrassment, you seem to like it.
how do you know this is underperforming anyway? Maybe this is as good as it gets.

Have... fun (is that right word)

RE: Official Game Thread: Tennessee
This just affirms the performance at the App State game.

1. ETSU has no inside game. Adeke is playing out of position (he is a power 4) and we have no center. Didn't have a center last year either.
2. Bucs have no depth. After the first 5 or six the talent and/or experience really drops off. It is hard to play pressure defense for 40 minutes with 5-6 players.
3. ETSU's depth in the post is abysmal/nonexistent/completely void of experience.

Unless the conference is down this year, this is a middle of the road SoCon Team at best. At worst...

I'm just sayin" 03-old

We just cannot depend on the conference being bad for us to compete in it. If our program is not at the top and competing for a championship then the coaching staff is not doing its job. They have a lot of room to improve and I pray they do but we are showing no offense, no defense, no rebounding, no hustle. Nothing so far.

Put an all-freshman lineup out there and let them get experience. I doubt they'd embarrass us worse than the starters already have.

RE: Official Game Thread: Tennessee
Damn, I remember when a coaching staff was allowed to come in and try and build a program.
Not getting put on the hot seat before the 2nd game is even in the books.

Mike Young didn't have a winning season at Wofford until his 8th season.
Wes Miller his 6th.

But yeah fire the staff now.

The biggest thing embarrassing me is being associated with this entitled and delusional fan base.

Who said fire the staff? Not sure I read that anywhere. I did say give other players a chance to get some experience while the players on the floor are only going through the motions.
