No bigs ... no boards ... no luck.

If two freshmen post players get healthy, team can be decent. Hamilton is no post defender whatsoever. Carry as advertised, but he needs Garcia in top shape for more balance. Looks like a typical Sendy team just needs some good health and some chemistry.

What 2 freshman post players, Cleveland? Senderoff said Odusipe has been sick, but as far as I know Hornbeak is healthy. The only other player Sendy mentioned as being unhealthy was Garcia with a knee injury, but he's a grad student 6'6" guard.

As I understand it Odusipe has not practiced in weeks ... believe Hornbeak had an issue last week, don't know if it is long or short term. Garcia just got back to practice a day or so before the game.
Thanks, cleveland. I wasn't aware Hornbeak had an issue. It can't be too bad, since he got in the game for a few seconds. It's good to see that Garcia played 13 minutes. I'd love to see a Kent State basketball team play several games with EVERYONE healthy for a stretch. It seems like it's been years.

Watched Xavier take down Ohio State last night. I believe Xavier led the entire game. That is the same team that we led at half time, played fairly well and without several of our bigs. They would have helped. We are going to like our team as they develop. Xavier is pretty good.

I have watched all three Ohio St games and I haven’t been impressed. Basketball is not one of their strengths and I think it’s going to show at least early in the year. My point is I’m not ready to anoint Xavier as a really good team just yet.
