There are probably a lot of good players in the portal...but there are probably some not-so-good ones too. They are in the portal for a reason and for many it's because they weren't getting PT where they were at.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if EMU adds a kicker from the portal.

Buffalo‘s transfer cycle has been a mixed bag, but the Bulls had a good number of additions and have a top-20 incoming portal class. Mo Linguist and the Bulls got some major news this week when 1,000-yard rusher Dylan McDuffie withdrew his name from the portal after a month. Additions include former Notre Dame cornerback Caleb Offord, Arizona wide receiver Jalen Curry, Louisville wide receiver Justin Marshall and VMI offensive lineman Nick Hartnett. On the other hand, Buffalo had led all G5 teams in transfer portal entries since August, as of late January (22). Of those, only three transferred to P5 schools, but starting quarterback Kyle Vantrease transferred to Georgia Southern.

From what we know, Gonzales has shown some ability in very limited action plus our dad's observations.

I'll toss in a new thought: Will we see more action in the transfer portal AFTER SPRING BALL across CFB.

Coaches will try to fill holes discovered or occurred (by injury) during spring.

I was so high on him but somethings never added up. He was delayed out of high school getting to us, then was never a fit at QB, had trouble at WR, transferred to an FCS, then is now transferring again. Colossal talent, but would have been better sticking to a single position and developing.

I know this signing being Volleyball won't excite many folks on here, BUT... I thought the name looked familiar.

I met her at a basketball game she was handing out the green fingers. Also last week in the Coaches office.A very Nice young lady. So if you attended that game got that green it was her.

I have NO idea what is with him. He played TWO games at Morgan State last year. Think he was like 3rd string on a VERY bad FCS team (I saw them play a game last year. Morgan State was bad. No wonder Wheatley bailed. Wasn't getting the job done there. Have no idea if they thought of making say a WR out of him.

I have no idea if he will pan out at another position or try to salvage his playing career say at D-II level.
