UVA comes over the mountain to play JMU tomorrow night at 7. This should be a very interesting game and an excellent early season challenge for Coach O and the women.

Who will be joining me? If you cannot make it to the game, it will be on Flo Sports.

Section 108! Spousal unit is a UVA alum but never roots for their athletic teams, having considered them a joke when he was there.

Planning to go to this one. Excited to see what the Bank has to offer for a regular game!

Based on the few times I have been to UVA for a women's game, I doubt they throw streamers at a WBB game - attendance has been really low when I went.

And yes, they cancelled their season in January 2021. Hopefully all teams can stay healthy this year and there can be a fairly normal schedule played.

Just looked at their roster. Pretty tall team overall- only 2 players under 6 feet.

They have a BUNCH of transfers, which speaks of a not very cohesive team. Even though they have height, how long have they played together? Also, some come from, ahem, not such great programs. UVA has had retention problems since Coach Boyle left. Also seem to have some recruiting problems. Or did you note that they have ONE freshman?

Looking forward to a JMU win. Then Sunday against #4 Maryland.

I'd hope that would be the case.

Pretty quiet around here if this is the 1st in-game post. Dukes up 29-26 halfway through 2nd quarter.

I don’t feel like the score reflects how well the Dukes have been playing. I hope that doesn’t come back to bite us in the second half
