Harvard (hockey}
NU hits the ice again tonight as they host crosstown rival Harvard. Both teams come into this one with 4-game winning streaks.
Harvard and NU are meeting in a non-Beanpot contest for the first time since 2012 and it's the Crimson's first visit to Matthews Arena since Jan. 19, 2011.

Harvard look really good this season. High scoring team, this will be a tough one.

Great win, 2-1 in OT. Harvard's first loss of the season and we held them to 1 goal. A team averaging 6 goals a game coming in. Huge 5 minute penalty kill in the 3rd period. Harvard had more possession, but in general we held our own. Solid performance by Levi again.

I also forgot about the 3v3 overtime, so I was surprised to see that. I think I like the rule in general. Though I don't think anyone likes that it will be applied to the Beanpot as well.

As you said, a BIG win over 10th ranked Harvard. NU got back into the top 20 today moving up to #17.
That was a huge penalty kill. Fontaine showed his speed and quickness on the game-winning goal. Nice crowd for a Monday night.
NU is back on the ice Friday night at UMass-Lowell. The game will be televised on NESN at 7 pm.
