RE: WHO WENT TO THE SCRIMMAGE ....
I went and it was a fun evening. The players seemed to be enjoying it. From the type of display that I saw, I would say that Sendy is grinning inside like a fox. He has more size and pure athleticism than I have seen at Kent State, maybe ever. The one thing that will determine how well this team will do will be team chemistry. Catching my eye was freshman Cliron Hornbeak. He just has the big time look about him. IMO, we are very lucky to have him. No one played defense so that is an unknown except we know that we have a MAC 1st team defensive player. Get your tickets, this team is fun.

Thanks, GFlash68. Size and athleticism are good things to have. Let's hope their is that chemistry, as well as the ability to shoot the ball. The injury situation has been a factor for the last several years, as it probably is everywhere. How does that look? Did everyone play? Anyone in street clothes with casts or crutches?

Good to hear about Hornbeak ... but the guy of interest is the big guy from Vanderbilt. What did he look like? Also the guy from Georgia.

Both have been hurt much of the preseason, though I wasn’t at scrimmage.

RE: WHO WENT TO THE SCRIMMAGE ....
Hamilton did not play. He did however take shots during warmups. I watched him for a while and he was hitting from the 3 for a high percentage for a 6'11 guy. Do not worry about shooting from this team. These players will be running galore. VanCamp Davis has lost some weight but still looks strong. He has improved areas of his game. Johnson from Rhode Island is a very good shooter and of course we know that Gio hits at a high percentage. Carry will be a MAC all star. Anxious to see how we do vs Xavier. Could be a surprise.
