TALK ABOUT A DEAD CONFERENCE.
The only thing good about this is UTEP now has NMSU as a conference partner a few miles up the road.

If you want to play LU and show us your superiority I'm sure both schools can arrange a game for SoMiss's asss whipping....I mean game.

Doubtful since its at SoMiss but even if we did it would be well worth the money.

Can't wait to see this media deal. Does Liberty give up their ESPN contract? Lots to digest.

Originally you were paying them 500k for them to play you in Lynchburg in 2020. I assume that game was canceled and the payment too.

Excited for those who are added. If MTSU and WKU leaves though you guys are at 7. I guess we start taking bets on who gets added next?

Oh man...

The SHSU board is about to meltdown.

If MTSU and WKU leave for the MAC, this conference map is going to look very, very strange. If this were what App had jumped to in 2012/2013, I believe everyone would've rather made a move to the CAA than join what this currently looks like.

Maybe the future state will be better? Anyone know if anymore FCS call-ups are in the works? Kennessaw State has more fan support than Georgia State and is in the same market. They would provide a rival for Jacksonville State.

Liberty and Jacksonville State just joined what will effectively be a Texas-centric conference, where every decision is viewed as if Texas is the center point.

Congrats to C-USA for not dying. But this is perplexing to say the least.

Good for NMSU to have a conference and UTEP a travel partner. Also great to add a good Liberty team. Adding SHSU and JSU is closer akin to the Sunbelt adding proven competitive FCS schools and so I think this was a good strategy as well. Its definitely possible that yall may end up in a better overall position in a few years. Good work.

Hot take question: we have to be getting close to the bottom of reasonable FCS schools to add to the G5 now right?

Honestly, Liberty might become the new Boise of CUSA and run the place. They are clearly now the face of the conference.

Congrats to all the teams getting an invite, especially Liberty and NMSU as being independent can be challenging.
