There should be Here Be Dragons merchandise all over Birmingham and especially in the stadium. What a missed opportunity that they were not available in stadium in game 1.

Heck, Spencer Brown should have trademarked “UABLegit” and started his own online tshirt store as soon as the bowl game got cancelled. It would have cost him very little to launch it. Tony Fair is doing this now at Auburn. He could have sold a ton of them, could have even licensed UAB marks to picture himself in uniform. If Spencer were a bit more high profile, he could have just coined the phrase “legit” and sold a whole line of team-themed merchandise. Modern technology makes this possible. Someone will do this around a catchphrase and make a lot of money in ways that were not possible 5 years ago.

You can not trademark another entity’s name.

The Thompsons are from Georgia, and Kerwin is out of Atlanta due to the film/tv industry there. He mentions his brother on his twitter page as well

Won't be nearly as nice because the sound for videos like this is so muffled with bass you can't understand what people are saying. Yet PA voice comes through clear. Gotta address the sound mixing.
