Charles Hollis passes away at 69.
He wrote a story a couple of weeks ago about the AAC and UAB. I thought it was terrible written article but some said he was sending a hidden message to UAB fans.

Regardless, he a legend in the Alabama media and will be missed.

I guess if it was a hidden message it wasn’t a correct one. UAB accepted the invite regardless

Let me correct myself, I said the article was terribly written when I meant it was lazily written.

He was a good guy. When I was just starting out writing sports at Kaleidoscope, he gave me a lot of good advice. He even convinced me to just walk up to a coach and start asking questions. That was something terrifying to 18-year-old me.

I'm sure many coaches were just as terrified by 18 year old, 6'8" you! 03-lmfao
