NDSU is 144-11 in last 10 years, 8 Natl FCS titles
NDSU has had ESPN Gameday 3 times
NDSU has 2 top 3 NFL Draft Picks in 5 years
NDSU has averaged almost 19k/year until covid
NDSU has a NATIONAL reputation/following
NDSU would absolutely save the C-USA

send the invite, screw it, lets go.

Does your pres and board feel the same way?

Us Boosters are fighting them right now. President is a Texas A&M guy, loves Football, but he is resigning end of year.
AD is a Stony Brook guy, probably afraid to make a big move, but he's an outsider and will have to listen or get fired.

NDSU Football charters to every game already, and flys to Ohio, Missouri already so coming on down for football is no big deal.

NDSU wants Mountain West, but they won't take NDSU because we've already beaten their teams & their pride won't let NDSU walk in and be #1 on Day 1 , BIG 12 is the ultimate goal as our wrestling team is in it.

If BIG XII is your ultimate goal then you next goal is the AAC... AKA "P5 INCUBATOTOR". 04-cheers04-cheers

Fcs then CUSA then aac then big12

Can't argue with that, it's worked well for over 35 years now!

If they were in CUSA this year, they would easily win the eastern division. I don't think people nationally realize how dominant they are. We lost to both Oklahoma State and NDSU by a TD and a lot of people around the program think NDSU was the better squad.

They'll be right as rain if they come to CUSA

Another comment I agree with.

RE: NDSU would SAVE C-USA
Big game this weekend between two possible future CUSA rivals NDSU @ SDSU

We have NDSU a 1 pt favorite with O/U 50.5

This promises to be a great game. It will be on ESPN+. A good chance for some of you to see their (SDSU) beautiful new stadium and practice facility. Its nice

If you are betting the spread we recommend taking points. On the money line take NDSU.

We havent checked on future CUSA member Missouri State. They have a good looking football team and would be a great entry into the CUSA with NDSU and SDSU if they accepted. I hope all 3 get invitations.

One thing that might interest SDSU would be full sports if conference Basketball tournament was in Sioux Falls. Nice town and arena. They run a great summit tournament.

Actually, that game IS tempting. Is the NDSU/SDSU game a rivalry game?

Biggest crowds in the history of the schools. They play for the Dakota Marker. It is the Dakota Collegiate football championship. SDSU had Game Day there a couple years back.

Unfortunately, Judy will add 6 FCS teams from Texas and call it a day.

Montana currently is having some enrollment and financial issues and could not afford to move up to FBS. Also we are not going anywhere without Montana State. Back when the WAC was looking to expand they only wanted us and that was one of the two big deal breakers, the other deal-breaker was when breaking it down financially we wouldn't get enough money from the move to justify going to FBS

I used to travel to Sioux Falls quite a bit, often stayed in the hotel connected to the arena, believe it or not, Sioux falls is a sports town(city).

I am pretty high on the Dakotas, I believe they bring something to the table and they would be exciting to have.

Sioux Falls is where University of South Dakota is. Granted, you may have meant in general as far as the Dakotas as a whole, but if we do go Dakotas, then South Dakota State in Brookings, I think, would be the better option.

Yes, NDSU and SDSU both have good fanbases and would be great adds.

Yea, just in general, I was just really surprised at how many sports events went on in Sioux Falls.

I don't think they made it that far yet. I'd recommend sending a telegram. (grin)

Seriously if NDSU, SDSU, Missouri St and a few others came along, it wouldn't be a bad idea. I just don't know if there would be enough northern teams to make a division out of it.

Make a west division with the dakotas and Texas. We are used to long distance out here west of the Mississippi. This would also split the rich recruiting grounds of Texas from the southeast.

One thing that's overlooked with NDSU is that they can be a football-only member and you don't have to send all your sports to Fargo. The Summit League won't care what conference NDSU football is in.

NDSU would boost media rights value for CUSA for sure.

If you can come up with a decent travel partner it is possible.

SDSU is the obvious answer. They've been one of the top 10 FCS schools with NDSU for years.

Speaking of being high on the Dakotas, you would also be high in the Dakotas, where the average elevation is 2,000 feet above sea level.

Try less than 1,000. The black hills skew it. You will be around 950 when in Fargo.

SDSU is in Brookings about 30 miles north of Sioux Falls. University of South Dakota is in Vermillion, about 50 miles south. The Summit basketball tournament is in Sioux Falls as are the Summit conference headquarters.

Woh. You mean South Dakota State is closer to Sioux Falls than University of South Dakota?! Google has failed me! Actually, I should've gone straight to the school website instead of relying on second-hand information.
