How many of the responses are from sun belt fans who like to act like gnats across all these boards because they are insecure and want to be noticed ?

What is the ratio of sun belt fans going to cusa or AAC boards to argue vs those conference members going to the sun belt board ?

I don't know what that has to do with the point, why don't you go count them and come back and let us know what you come up with?
It shows insecurity that sun belt fans feel the need to constantly troll and argue on the cusa and AAC boards. Those teams don't often come to the sun belt board to do so because we don't care

You also constantly see sun belt fans hoping other conferences fail. Those other conferences again don't care about the sun belt

If you guys are so happy , why the need to be annoying on all these boards ? Have at it amongst yourselves

Hoss, you can't even sniff the Top 25, but we have done it several times. You can't even beat a ranked team, and we've done it several times.

We're down now, but won't be long.

You're not the next UCF.. UCF had support, you barely draw more than a HS football game in Texas. You were a market grab.

wE wOn CuSa...

Yea, so have a ton of other teams.

But we got more, especially when the competition was tougher.

Buh bye.
Yeah won't miss southern miss fans who probably still wear their high school varsity jackets while in their 50s...

I'm sure you and the rest of the belt will be hoping the AAC fails. The AAC adds won't care about the sun belt because we wanted the AAC and aren't insecure. I don't care about how the sun belt does.

Why for pointing out the truth ? You complained about sun belt fans trolling this board and arguing for years on here. You are just doing a 180 now because they are conference mates

It's the same reason you won't answer me on if some sun belt teams are awesome conference mates now. Because you were ripping them recently including telling me to have fun with Georgia state as the next AAC add

Let me answer your question.

The AAC slapped schools like App State and Marshall in the face. Then they invited poor performers into the fold simply based on market.

Now, knowing the moves made, I like the lineup in the Sun Belt. Our division is now nice and tight. Belt schools have been getting great ratings on the ESPN networks, and now have a new deal in place ready to go which will pay equal to FAU.

I also think it's a slap in the face to you guys that you will earn FAR less than the AAC holdovers.

Look, there are many more reasons. Given what happened, Marshall is definitely in a healthier conference for what we want to do.

Our football improves, and we carry over the CUSA soccer membership to the new Belt. It's a home run for us on many levels.

Have you seen the Sun Belt rivalry games on ESPN? Great atmosphere.

You aren't getting equal to the aac adds. This has been talked about plenty . Vianni and Thamel types even said that sun belt schools would be more equal to each other to start but not make as much as the aac adds

You are jus repeating the same flimsy math from sun belt guys struggling to get to the low end of the range the AAC schools get to start

Enjoy Georgia state though man. Super duper conference mate as you told me they would be for the aac before you got to the belt and pulled your 180.

I already saw you running your mouth on the AAC board so you'll fit right in with the sun belt gnats. We won't be on the sun belt board. And we won't be hoping you fail either. Only that insecure types have to hope others fail.

I agree, however each of the SBC adds are trying to GTFOASAP and hope to leave in 2022.

Is it up to you, though?

SBC has waived the entry fee so all good there. I don't know how it works but I assume instead of forfeiting 2 years of revenue we'd forfeit the one and 'pay' the other year in advance. If CUSA wants to dig in their heels on our way out, then who knows.

Personally, being a fan of one of the schools that are leaving, I have no problem with C-USA digging their heels in. I am sure these exit fees are among the biggest carrots they will have in getting new teams.

CUSA would still be getting the full exit fee. They just get it all in 2022 instead of 2023. That's my guess. Also not sure why you care whether or not if the SBC adds leave a year earlier than you. Does it make any difference?

Could have fooled me since the AAC turned down Marshall. How pathetic is someone when they have to hope others fail ? How about just worry about yourself ? I hope the AAC succeeds but I don't care if the sun belt does too

The aac helps us for more than just football. Much better academics . Higher budgets. It will force us to raise our standards. Great places to take trips. We are looking forward to it. No salty fans will change that

You're just using Pesek's talking points

We will get a bump in the Sun Belt.

Regardless, you're missing my point. We are being treated as equal members in the new Belt. FAU and any other new add is not being treated fairly by the AAC.

So why again would Marshall be better off in the AAC now? One rival, which we can schedule OOC?

No. I'm using actual reputable reporting. Give me any source that says the sun belt teams will get the same as the AAC adds. You aren't doubling an existing contract with ESPN.

The AAC money for the new adds gradually rises. Eventually it will be the same for all members. That happens a lot with new adds.

It won't be 7 million but all reports say it will be higher than the sun belt. You can speculate and hope that changes but you have zero to show that being factual

Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

So when the new contract details become publicly available, and the Sun Belt teams are making two to three million dollars per team, are you going to apologize? I don't think so.

Most of the intel I have seen is from inside sources.

Yes those great inside sources. In other words you have nothing you can share.

Because I would like to have a game at Marshall next year.

I do not understand why anyone should apologize. If the new additions to SunBelt get 2 to 3 millions - great! It is better than what they get here. The new additions to AAC get 2 to 3.5 million the first year with a raise every year of the current AAC contract until they make the same amount as the AAC teams already there.

Which is another reason for my (and every FAU fan's) happiness.

I have to agree, I don't want this to be the last FAU game.

We have been good dance partners in this conference, just like Western. It's usually one of us at the top.

You deserve it. UAB deserves it. I or nobody have a questioned that.

I do however question the full on addition of markets, and what I perceived to be a slap in the face to you or any of the other additions by receiving far less than half what's your peers will receive for what looks like the next 10 years.

Another stupid post by you. The last 4 champs and probably this year's champ aren't just markets.

But enjoy the sun belt and those slobberknocker matchups with Texas state , Louisiana Monroe , Georgia state etc

You know those schools you guys ripped on for years until you joined them in the belt. I believe you directed a salty comment at me saying go enjoy Georgia state as our next add

You like to use the word stupid when talking to people don't you?

Are you incapable of having rational conversation? Are you really 17 years old?

Pretty much, he’s all talk behind a computer screen.

RE: After all this...
So a thread that starts out wanting to know what current AAC school fans think of the new additions to the AAC mutates into a thread where CUSA schools going to the Belt (and are happy about it) and CUSA schools going to the AAC (and are happy about it) start flinging poo at each other like chimps at the zoo over why the other shouldn't be happy about their future home?

Makes perfect sense. 07-coffee3
