2021 Tailgate Notes:

NOTE: There will be no grill for warming food this week, bear that in mind when deciding what to bring.

[b]• If you commit to bring food, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the published meal time. If your food item needs to be cooked or reheated, please arrive early enough to ensure it would be ready at the published meal time

• For 2021, we are asking everyone to commit to help with 1 set-up or break-down session during the season.

• A $5 per person donation is requested for anyone that can't bring food/drinks/items for the tailgate.

• A few of us have secured ample tailgating space and new equipment to enhance the tailgating experience in our new surroundings. Donations would be appreciated to help us offset some of these expenses.

Question: Does the bus that runs from campus to the stadium run on a schedule or is it just before and after the game? I have to leave a little early and would like to park on campus and ride back around the end of the third quarter. Will that work or do I have to wait till the end of the game to catch a bus ride back to campus?

That's actually the old Legion Field page, but I think the schedule remains the same. Be aware that MASKS ARE REQUIRED to ride the shuttle.

NOTE: UAB just altered the gameday schedule:

Lots are now opening an hour earlier at 7:00 am and the stadium gates are opening 30 minutes earlier than previously announced - now at 9:30 am

I'll get there sometime 7-8 for setup. I'll also try to remember to bring my canopy sides, my gas heater & we can use my canopy to make some kind of wind break/enclosed area w/ some heat. It'll be chilly first thing in the morning

I'll bring a jug of tea and what else do we need? A jar of jam for biscuits?
