Will UTSA basketball be forced to use The Spurs' arena for AAC play?
Until something is done about the convocation center? I can't imagine Memphis, Wichita, Temple or even SMU playing in that thing.

Have you seen Tulane's Rose Bowl Gym? Heck...even FAU'S gym is smaller and seats less than 3,000.
Capacity is never a problem for most current and future AAC teams.

If UTSA becomes a BB powerhouse they can use Convocation Center for WBB and Volleyball, and build a new MBB arena on campus or use AT&T Center.

You are obviously a troll. Why does a Houston fan care where UTSA plays their basketball games as Houston will have left the conference when UTSA joins? Isn’t there already another thread with a discussion of the incoming schools facilities and one of the topics discussed was UTSA’s basketball arena? Why don’t you post under the thread that was previously created for this subject instead of spamming our board?

In fairness Pitt, Syracuse, West Virginia, Rutgers and Louisville killed the original Big East.

Yes...but TV $$ greed was the main culprit
I loved the old BE for hoops. Football was sneaky good too. Although we had to go to the ACC for $$. The ACC is a great league for our alumni and T-shirt fans.
