Had to be an admin from the conference office, I doubt another school would say that.

I literally laughed at that. How does something think that is a good quote to give to the media?

It just shows how far C-USA fell over the last decade, from being the top non-BCS conference to being a complete joke no one wanted to be a part of anymore... and it was entirely the fault of the league's front office.

I went on a random CUSA game once on Facebook. There was 275 fans watching. They had no choice but to put Marshall on. Herd drew 7,000 fans.

So stay in a conference and it be meaningless or challenge yourself. Hmmm I never did anything the easy way

It is an infuriating quote.

CUSA saying, "go to the SBC and be a middle pack team in a 14 team league or stay here and win" is the same as saying, "most of our teams suck" is it not?

I thought University President's and Board's made decisions. The league offices just build proposals and relationships?
