The East Coast side should be the “Coastal Division”. Just makes geographical sense.

I don't want the league to get cute like the Big Ten did with Legends and Leaders.

It is possible the league will need to replace some day with someone like WKU or MTSU. They're neither Atlantic or Gulf.

West Virginia is considered a Mid-Atlantic state by many geographers. (Pennsylvania is also considered mid-Atlantic by many as well, even though it does not touch the ocean, either. For that matter, Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland touch the ocean, but they have very short coastlines.)

stAte is the true oddball.

I really like delta as that solves the ark st not being on the coast issue. And mountain captures the essence of guide folks. Plus both are really unique. Let do that one!

I like Atlantic vs Gulf but the ACC already has an Atlantic division.

Eastern vs Central makes the most sense because the dividing line between the each division is also the same line that divides the Eastern time zone and the Central time zone
