Let's please stop pretending like they are the only school exploiting the broken and corrupt federal loan programs, or they are the only school that saddles students with debt for useless degrees or worse yet class credits for degrees they will never obtain, or embark on massive unnecessary facilities projects at the tax payers expense, or let's in a majority of students willing to pay up or take out loans, or have crooked overpaid administrators, or take stances that may be disagreeable to some.
Each issue people complain about Liberty is a problem at every single university in this nation from the elite Ivies and state flagships to small private schools and regional state commuter college. Everyone of our alma maters is guilty of the same things. That doesn't make it right, but it's not like Liberty is somehow unique.
Some of you say "but..but..Liberty is different, they are worse". Save it, its becoming tiresome and pathetic.
Pretty sure, my alma mater has not had a wide scale sexual assault problem, where the victims are blamed, and the police do not report crimes...
Also didn't hire one of the most vile AD's in Ian McCaw, and then pretend that he was not highly at fault for the campus culture at Baylor...
Do you really think your school has never covered up criminal activity on campus and has never hired disgusting people?
It's all wrong, and maybe Liberty is worse than most, but it is still pathetic to go on and on about it like petulant children.

Just to be sure, ALL schools are just diploma mills. They mean nothing, and never has - unless you're a doctor, lawyer, or something like that. This coming from a guy that has 2 degrees and attended 7 universities. Being thirsty for knowledge is good, seeking that knowledge from universities is what makes me an idiot. I've repented from my ways though, quite thankful for Udemy, Coursera, etc. Anyway, carry on.

My Daddy always told me to be sure and get my degree; but to make sure I didn't confuse that with getting an education. He was right.

This is why the Falwell scandal is so huge, he was using government funds to buy property and pay for vacations.
That's exactly what ITT Tech did and eventually caused their closing.

Kick out Monroe add Liberty.
Mhmm, maybe wait until you are officially rescued from your dying conference before making demands.

The overwhelming majority of schools do this. As far as I know there is maybe a handful of small colleges that reject all federal aid. Sometimes it is government grants, sometimes federal loans, sometimes the student's personal trust fund, but they are all getting fat and rich conning the middle class to go into crippling debt to spend 4 to 6 prime earning years wasted on worthless degrees in unemployable disciplines like the humanities and "fill-in-the-blank studies" when in fact they would be much wiser to learn a trade or start a business. The whole system is corrupt, everyone is guilty, and Liberty is just a highly visible and particularly agreegis example.

Seriously, why does everyone act like ULM is some sort of dead weight for the conference? They had a few down years but they've pulled off three wins in a row and maybe have righted the ship.
And without them, we wouldn't even have a football conference. So there's that.
