These adds strengthened our league a lot. I figure 10 series like the SEC with 6 vs the division rivals and playing 4 crossover series vs the West. This should boost the conference RPI and help us get multiple teams in the regionals

I'm looking forward to playing ODU and hopefully taking the lead in our series, along with Marshall and JMU whom we've never played. Only SBC member Coastal has an all-time winning percentage against the Jags, which I'm hoping we eventually overtake.

There’s probably a reasonable answer to this but how did USA and ODU only play six times against each other when both were in the Sun Belt for 10 seasons?

That was before my time, but it looks like we played in pods and only met in the SBC Tournament. USA was 2-1 against ODU in 1983 the SBC Tournament in Norfolk, 1-1 in the 1984 SBC Tournament in Mobile, and 0-1 in the 1990 SBC Tournament in Mobile.
