Defense looks gassed. Got the 3rd down stop, but there was zero celebration, everyone just slowly walked to the sideline.

Special teams haven't been real special today. Midfield on the opening kickoff. Roughing the punter penalty extended a scoring drive. Missed a FG.

We play scared to end the half too. Big surprise. This game is infuriating so far.

We run the ball with about 35 seconds left, don’t use a time out, let the clock run down very low, and then try to throw a Hail Mary?? WTF.. WE HAD A TIMEOUT

Well that was as brutal half where we could've taken full control of the game and didn't. Hopefully we come out strong in the 2nd

Yeah that was a really wtf moment

Considering the quality of the opponent and the fact that we are playing at home, this is probably the least inspiring performance since the return that I can remember

UAB’s offensive play calling is baffling. I just don’t get it. This offense could be so much better.

Can someone PLEASE explain that last “drive” before halftime? Maybe the most baffling thing I’ve ever seen.

Quinn is inconsistent. Good from 52 last week at USM and then misses from 33 today.

Not enough time for a drive. We went for the block on the punt. When that didn’t happen we were in “get into halftime with no more damage done” mode. Ran it once. Had he busted it for a long gain, great, we could run up and spike the ball or call our last time out. That didn’t happen so we checked it as deep as we could with zero time remaining and hoped for a miracle TD or pass interference call.

I’ve seen a ton of complaints that all we do is run on first and second down on here.

You have to keep the D honest. We hit one of those passes and we would be saying “Great job hitting them with the unexpected pass on first down!”

I get that and we have hit several passes to our TE's from there. McBride has run with so much fire in this game I just wanted to see him get a touch inside the red zone. His energy seemed to pick the team up.
We still should have had points on that drive.
