I will say again ANY G5 conference is making a mistake by leaving out WKU.

Our athletic program is in the top 20% of G5.

That is if you make decisions based on factual results-- not the "buddy system", anger or hurt feelings

The Virginia schools are well supported, have good facilities, have large budgets, relatively close to Marshall, and at least ODU is in big recruiting territory.

Marshall wants proximity as a security blanket if it joins the Belt. Marshall, ODU, JMU, SMU added to the Belt is one of the best possible scenarios that could have played out for Marshall. If we turn this down to join up with Liberty and stay with UTEP and FIU (no offense guys), we are dumb and deserve the fate we'll get. Joining the Belt with these other 4 is a slam dunk result.

Then why is Liberty voted as academically superior to 4 current AAC schools in Niche? We all know US News and Word Report is rigged, which I have shown in previous links multiple times. UCF has less students on campus than Liberty. Florida, FIU, Ohio State, Arizona State among others, have large online programs.

IN any case, Liberty is not academically superior to anyone in AAC, C-USA, or MWC. In fact, it is not just US News and World Report. Look, AAC and C-USA are filled with R1 and R2 schools. Liberty is not even a research institution.

Academic elitism will prevent the conference from every being good at sports.

This is called COLLEGE athletics. And we're not talking THIS conference. I do not see any other conference lining up to accept Liberty. Maybe at some point. Maybe when active Liberty biological science professors stop producing books about "deceptive evolutionists".

No room to talk when many schools and professors tout 25 different genders and insist late term abortion isn't murder. Neither scientific at all - just pure emotions. You only push science when it fits your narrative.
