“Wednesday, members of the trans employee resource group at Netflix will stage a walkout. In addition to the walkout, the resource group has released a number of demands for Netflix to comply with, including “measures … to avoid future instances of platforming transphobia and hate speech.”

The walkout is the latest in a continually escalating crisis created by transphobic content on the streaming giant’s platform. Last week, the company fired a Black transgender (and pregnant!) employee who helped to organize the walkout. Prior to the firing, Netflix had suspended Terra Field, a transgender employee who had tweeted a critical thread aimed at the company’s decision to continue to air anti-trans content.

All the while, Netflix has stood by the decision to platform, promote and profit from content that will harm transgender people. How Netflix finds itself in this sticky cultural and political morass is bit of a winding tale, so bear with me.“

I haven’t seen it yet but apparently Dave rips the “cancel culture” in his last Netflix special. He apparently upset some of the wokers.

He was very careful to make it known that he harbors no ill will toward them. In fact if anyone should be insulted by his final Netflix piece it's white people. He wasn't easy on us.

He is a funny man. The trans community is 10 times worse than the LGBQ's ever were. Their mental illness is evident as some sort of superiority complex. "Look here, we are especially special and should be treated as such".

I watch it the other night, it was pretty good.

If they think his jokes are hate speech, then they missed the point, which doesn't surprise me in the least.

He basically says if you piss off the T's, they bully you, and they are proving him right.

Dave is walking out too...and right to the ******* bank.

When he came on he went to Netflix and explained why them airing Chappelle show wasn't right with him and they pulled it. They know where the money comes from and it's not a bunch of woke employees

I honestly believe the guy in the video did it just to see what kind of over the top reaction he would get from the hyper-sensitive liberals.

I have a feeling we are all missing out on some great comedy because comedians are afraid of pissing off all the SJWs. Hopefull more, like Chappelle, will simply not give a crap. Dave has the race card. He hasn’t played it. I doubt he ever does. Just knowing he has it scares white liberals too death.

While white conservatives watch Dave and see a comedian, laugh at his jokes, at themselves and enjoy the show, white liberals watch Dave and see a black comedian. A black man they can’t control, who by poking fun at their twisted beliefs, triggers them.

Dave is the kind of guy most of us grew up with. If he wasn’t making fun of you or your Mom, and you weren’t doing the same thing to him, people would think y’all were mad at each other.
