Your basketball program is the new DePaul. You're just mad because Temple is about to be the AAC southern teams *****. We're excited about it. Have heard you boys gotta pretty mouth.

On top of being wrong about Baltimore, I'm pretty confident I never bad-mouthed UAB on here. In fact, I posted a pic of your beautiful new FB stadium on our Rivals board and said how awesome it would be to have on our campus. I'm very happy to have UAB in the conference, and former Temple ESAAD Mark Ingram has obviously done a great job there.

on a serious note what is the difference between a sub and a hoagie? i am fairly certain what I was told 50 years ago was false because my father did not want to admit he did not know.

The internet says the bread. It also says a hoagie is not cut all the way through. One thing I know for damn sure is a hoagie up in that part of the country is way better than anything we can get down here.

Thanks. I am aware of what the internet says I wanted to know what a philly person said. My family is from central PA and I grew up on. western PA. I was told Hoagies were hot and subs were cold. I think I was told wrong but colloquial meanings often differ

Hoagies were definitely not used to differentiate between hot and cold when I lived up there.

...wow... this puppy derailed to it's fullest extent... I had to check to make sure I hadn't switched boards...

...with that, maybe they will have Philly-style hoagies (?) at the renovated Legacy Arena when we host the AAC Tourney in 4-5 years...
