Jacksonville has given Coach Jordan Mincy a contract extension through 2030-31. Mincy, who just completed his first season at JU was also given a raise. JU finished the season at 21-10 & 11-5 in the ASUN. It was JU's best record since the NCAA tournament team of 1985-86.

Coincidentally, JU defeated Gene Bartow's UAB team in the Sun Belt tournament final to make the trip to the NCAA tournament. Jordan's brother Jerome was UAB's star player.

Bellarmine fans, what do you think went into the decision to forgo the CBI (or College Basketball Classic for that matter). Is it just being fiscally prudent? Is it an image thing? I would never want EKU to turn down either of those opportunities personally, and we've made a combined three appearances in them. I know the Knights played in the CBI last year as well.
