New Mexico State beat Texas Tech 76-74 while Texas Tech beat Wichita State 83-61 two weeks ago. I'm looking forward to watching this Aggie basketball team.

GCU struggling against USC right now. USC = University of Silver City aka Western New Mexico University. WNMU is a bad D-2 school.

GCU goes 10 deep. The only real constant on the Lopes team is Jovan Blacksher Jr.. He is the best point guard in the WAC. When he is the game, he is a difference maker. The rest of the team is a work in progress. GCU has a lot of athleticism and size but I don't see a dominant low post presence among them like when a first saw Asbjorn Midtgaard a season ago. Dima Zdor has improved. But Fardaws Aimaq still sets the bar for other WAC big men. Yvan Ouedraogo could be a factor as the season progresses but his scoring production is limited mostly to hustle points. GCU has a good team but they don't have the field covered like a season ago. They're going to need to work for a lot if their wins this season. I'm not as impressed with Aidan "the Irish Hulk" Igiehon as I thought I would be. But I am more impressed with Taeshon Cherry than expected. In all, GCU has some good pieces to build around.

Just like most teams in the WAC, with all the newcomers, it’s going to take some time to gel. The team that does that quicker and better than the rest will likely come out on top. I’m loving the anticipation for this season. With ACU and SFA also in the mix, and UVU with Aimaq and Woodbury, and Seattle with Trammel, and….this conference has a lot of players that will be worth going to see play.

I can’t wait!

GO AGGIES!!!

This has always been the problem with Seattle under Jim Hayford's helm. Seattle can score a lot of points but they give up a lot of points in turn. But Hayford is still an improvement from Cameron Dollar.

Someone on the WAC board kept posting about Seattle's lack of defense. Kinda like a broken record. I wonder who that was...

I wasn't impressed with GCU on Saturday vs University of Silver City. GCU is probably a middle of the pack team in the WAC.

You post more about GCU than GCU posters. It gets so old. Even worse, none of the GCU posters engage in your nonsense. Who are you talking trash to? No one cares.

First of all, I'm not talking trash. I watched GCU exhibition with my Alma Mater Western New Mexico and GCU didn't impress me. I think a few teams finished below them could finish ahead of them. I'm not sure what's up your butt right now but if you don't like what I post, don't respond Mr. I'm ashamed of my Mexican heritage.
