I just spent a week+ in Connecticut. Traveled through five airports collectively. Apparently Karen thinks it’s safe for the guy in line standing two feet away from me to wear a diaper while I go diaperless at a restaurant . It’s ok for me to forgo a face diaper on the plane as long as I’m “eating” or “drinking”.

One United flight suggested replacing your face mask after every bite and sip. And there are sheep who do this. What the actual fuk are you people thinking?

I went to Mystic, CT. 2/3rds is in Groton which requires face diapers and 1/3rd is in Stonington which does not. The Stonington side was unsurprisingly more crowded.

It really just depends on the airport. TSA will require it through security, but they are not enforcing it in the airport. In my experience Nashville I heard Airport police ask politely for people to put their mask on, Ft. Lauderdale doesn't seem to have heard of Covid, Denver I saw someone damn near get arrested for not wearing one.

Went to Kroger today. Myself and a handful of others didn’t have one on. Went to the liquor store Thursday and no one, not even the employees, had a mask on.

Yall still wearing masks.

The only reason I still wear one is because as a contractor for the sheriff's communications/IT department I was given one with the SCSD logo and my name on it. When I wear it in restaurants I get an LEO discount. I tell them I'm not an actual deputy but most don't care so I tip them the discounted amount on top of their normal tip.

I hang out regularly at a cigar store/smoke shop in midtown Memphis, there's a sign on the door that you must be wearing a mask on entering but you can walk 10 feet to a table and sit down without one on all day. Such crap.

Where I work(Chicago public schools) we are hearing masks will be permanent. I wonder how that would work though. Can’t somebody with common sense just step in and overturn it down the road when we get this unqualified lunatic of a mayor out of office?

Come to New Mexico, our dictator just renewed mask mandates for indoors for another month. NM health secretary expects it to last 3-4 more years.

Well……you got me there. Looks like masks are here to stay.

Traveling to Commiefornia after Christmas to see sister-in-law and her kids. Will be the first time I've worn a mask pretty much all year except for a trip to the doctor's office. Not looking forward to it one bit, but especially not looking forward to trying to keep one on my 2 1/2 year old who has never worn one for an entire 5 hour flight.

I would think that all of us going to jam packed college football games and not dying would be proof enough that masks are stupid and worthless.

I take my cue from whatever the employees are doing. If I walk in and the have on mask I will oblige. If not, then I don't worry about the mask.

Spent the weekend at Disney. Outside you don't have to wear face diapers but the minute you have a roof over your head they require them. So, you can stand nuts to butts in a line outside with a canopy over head, but the second there's a roof somehow the Kung Flu magically knows to attack if you're not diapered up. Not to mention, for those "face masks save lives" @ssholes, let me ask a question. When a building is packed and people exhale, where does that air go? It doesn't magically get filtered out by these face diapers, so you're still breathing in a dispersed cloud of funk and everything else.

The whole policy is asinine, as are face diapers anywhere. If you're that scared, stay home. You don't want to live, you merely want to exist.

We have had a mask mandate in Louisiana for a few months now. No stores in Lafayette are enforcing anything. Life as usual.
