ESPN Predictor says Louisiana Tech will still make a bowl if they win the games they think they'll win, but is Louisiana Tech really 53.8% better than Charlotte while being 46.8% worse than UAB? I'm not so sure those gaps in talent are that wide.

Horrible from LaTech. I am definitely much closer to the fire skip train. All I had hope for was the conference championship and now that seems unlikely.

Second, I’m also here to unequivocally state that I was wrong for stateing the UTEP’s previous success came in the form of inferior competition. I was absolutely incorrect and am glad to be so.

I am stoked to see UTEP Football back to being competitive once again. The city and university deserves it! I hope this will continue and lead to better days ahead.

I was following this game last night on the drive back to Houston from San Antonio, and wow!! Most impressive result anyone has had against LA Tech this season, and LA Tech has played some pretty good teams. Congrats on 6-1!

What was the attendance for this game? I ask because I know what UTEP is capable of and I'm wondering if the city is starting to wake up and realize that UTEP is good this year?

For the newcomers in the conference, you all haven't seen the real UTEP. They can put a legit 40-50k in the stands every single game when they are winning.

The city is full of excuses. Tickets are too expensive. Parking is too far. The weather is too cold or too hot. The game starts too late or too early. The teams we've beat haven't beaten anybody. The list goes on and on and on... MinerInWisconsin made a funnier similar post to this on our board that's buried in of the the threads.

What a dominating defensive performance by UTEP.

After being flattened and sacked numerous times, Kendall was out of it and throws were nowhere near his capability.

Smoke harris should have caught a td pass that was a perfect fade throw that landed in his hands. Some questionable calls also like the third down run that looked like a clear first down and of course the offensive PI that was essentially a 40 yard penalty. I was actually proud of Tech’s defense giving our offense multiple opportunities.

There are more Lafayette fans in here than UTEP or LA Tech fans.

The sad part of it is that ULL fans don’t realize that they look like they just have an ax to grind. None of it is constructive. Yes we get it you, you hate Tech.
