Biden* Gets a New Nickname as Americans Vent Over Supply Chain Crisis
Quote:People are just so disgusted at the way that Joe Biden is doing his job he’s become a meme generator.

First we saw “F**k Joe Biden” and “Let’s go, Brandon,” a movement which still continues and has even gone international.

But yesterday, in response to Biden’s remarks about the supply chain disruptions as Americans face shortages across the country, they had a new nickname for Joe trending on Twitter at number one: “#EmptyShelvesJoe.”

The problem has been getting worse, but Joe Biden hadn’t spoken to it until Tuesday.

As my colleague Jen Van Laar reported, Joe Biden’s claim that opening the port of Los Angeles 24/7 could be a potential game changer wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be for a variety of other issues that Biden wasn’t addressing including trucker problems. The disruptions were so bad, at one point in September, there was a log jam of 65 container ships stacked up, trying to get into Los Angeles ports to be off-loaded.

But even in Biden delivering his remarks, he showed up more than an hour late, then he only spoke for only 10 minutes, didn’t address some of the important greater issues behind the supply chain problems, and then beat it out of there taking no questions. He hasn’t taken any questions in days and he fled as they tried to ask about the greater issues.

When White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was pressed on the questions like holiday items being held up, she was dismissive, “We are not the Postal Service…and we do not guarantee.” Um, yes, you are literally the Postal Service – the federal government runs the Postal Service, hence the “U.S” in front of the “P.S.” But once again, she showed the greater problem of the Biden Administration not addressing the real problems that exist.

People were not happy with #EmptyShelvesJoe:

“Just went food shopping…again…thanks #EmptyShelvesJoe I really love having to go every day now in order to find what used to take one trip,” one account wrote, along with a photo of near-empty shelves at a grocery store.

“I’m pretty sure @JoeBiden and the Democrats in DC are eating just fine and are having no issues getting what they need,” another Twitter user posted. “The rest of us lowly Americans who actually go to the grocery stores, not so much. #EmptyShelvesJoe.”

Even Donald Trump, Jr. took note of the new name, “Yikes! #EmptyShelvesJoe.”

But in typical American fashion, people also threw some humor at the challenging situation.

‘Trump’ had a few words to say about the empty shelves. Now this is very good.

The name was even paged at an airport.

Now if he actually addressed some of the long-term trucker issues and relieved some of the federal and state regulations that were contributing to the problems, then he might be on to something. But then he wouldn’t be Joe Biden, who always seems to find the wrong way to deal with every problem.
