Agreed! Hopefully this scrimmage will turn into a few Home/Home/Legacy series again.

I was pretty surprised not to see the series renewed this season. I don't know anything about how the scheduling works but I assumed Bruce would want to set it up now that UAB is a favorite to win the conference.

Also been surprised that Memphis hasn't shown up on the schedule. Guess if Penny saw how good Ehsan did against him that he's terrified of Kennedy.

Last thing - and I realize this is a desperate Hail-Mary, but any chance one of the insiders can get me into this? Don't care if it's at 8am or midnight, I just would love to see this.

Bruce would want to set it up so the court tilts in his favor.

If he wanted to do the same deal as last time, I’d be down for that.

Since Bruce has owned us and since we need the game far more than they do, they can dictate the terms. We should agree to play them anywhere and then beat their ass.

A series with Auburn will happen… from a very reliable source.

Yep. I mean don’t sign up for a six game series in auburn or anything, but if they want a 2 for 1 or the same deal as last time, it just makes sense.

My heart agrees with you Dawg, but my head says we aren't there yet. We need the games more than they do so we may need to make some concessions in the short term.

They would'nt. Id happily take the last deal we had with them. What id really like is a 4 game series to open up each season at Legacy. Its our hometown but Auburn would like playing in Birmingham for recruiting purposes. Pack it out with 17,000 like the old days.

This is third hand info but I will share it since there are not many other responses so far. I cannot speak to the accuracy.

Our front court dominated. Our back court was consistently better but had a period or some periods of time where they faded or lost focus or whatever and Bruce got after them pretty good.

This is actually supposedly coming from the UAB side so don’t blame AU for releasing any info on the scrimmage or whatever and please don’t share it elsewhere. I could see how that would be a problem for Andy or Bruce as this is not about claiming victory or whatever. It is about getting a sense of where you are as a team and exposing some things before it really matters.

From our side, AU has at least 3 players way better than anybody on our team.

That's great to hear lol... Especially on what was already an extremely deflating day for UAB sports.

Thankfully we have a couple tune up games before we face a strong Morehead state

I’m betting Jabari Parker is great.
We have to remember that they’re preseason Top 20 & we’re preseason in the ~70’s, so them being better at the moment wouldn’t be a stretch.
