Yeah, but he's only 50 grand less than the #7 spot, and he gets to live in Texas where things are way cheaper. He's fine. And he should get a well deserved raise after this season.

North Texas is stuck with one of the worst head coaching contracts in FBS. They're paying Litrell a lot to lose.

.....and it's about to get real ugly for UNT and Littrell. They still have to play Marshall, Liberty, Rice, USM, a hot UTEP team, FIU and UTSA. I could easily see UNT losing 5 of those 7 games.

It looks like UTEP will get 6 or7 wins this year, in his 4th (?) year as HC. His previous HC job ended at 0-12. He was lucky y'all gave him a chance at all. Don't give him too big a raise for bating terible teams in close games. You could be like UNT, stuck with an overpaid loser.

No state income tax in Texas, so that's a little extra.

Maybe but Im sure Littrell is paying 20-30k on property tax unless UNT is giving him a house.

For ordinary people Texas property taxes more than make up for states with income tax and low property tax. Ordinary house in Texas will cost 8-10k a year

My property tax just went way up I’m paying more than $300 a year now.
