As a private institution Rice is not required to and does not report toxicity levels. If we did we would probably be category IV, practically non-toxic and not an irritant.

I'm not sure there are enough engaged UNT fans to be the most toxic.

UAB has a different type of toxicity. We’ve got sunshine pumpers galore over here, that drives some of us batsh** crazy

They’ve never met UK basketball fans, obviously (or I don’t understand their criteria).

Moreover, unlike any other school in the universe, WKU counts only posters that are actually wearing their school colors while posting.

It's a much more accurate measure than the rest of the schools that count ALL posters who claim fanhood.

When I glanced through some of the comments left on Twitter, someone else said something very similar about UK. The main reason I wanted to share this is because I knew there would probably be disagreement on some of these.

As I said, I can only personally vouch for K-State, as I was completely taken aback at how polite and personable their fans were when UTSA played there. It was unlike any other venue I've been to in my years of following UTSA athletics. I don't know enough to rank others though except to say that Oklahoma State and Texas A&M seemed 2nd friendliest to me, but they're not listed anywhere on the graphic.

ECU definitely fits. Kentucky basketball fans alone make it impossible for them to be least toxic. How is it not Vandy in the SEC? I've heard horror stories from people who have visited Georgia and LSU, so Georgia being where it is makes sense. I assume they just picked names out a hat for CUSA??, because neither school really makes sense to me.

Charlotte's pristine creeks are the main reason they are the least toxic.

I can vouch for that too since our coach spent a majority of his coaching career there. He's the nicest most polite man you'll ever meet. His team plays the same way. Zero killer instinct. He doesn't believe in blowing out teams. If we're up by 10 in the middle of the 3rd he would rather take his foot off the gas and pull back so our lead doesn't get too big. He has been on the receiving end of too many blowouts and doesn't want any of our opponents to go through that feeling.

Our fans have a lot of toxicity but it's mostly directed inward.

Wrong again. Everyone knows wkcc are the most toxic.

idk in the ACC UNC hoops fans probably push the Tarholes to Most Toxic.

From the old cusa days when ecu was in they were the most obnoxious fans on this board. They sparred with everyone. To the ecu fans they thought they were God's gift to college sports. I know I used to get into a few arguments with them.

Nowadays, I give that award to old dominion and charlotte, they're in a tie.
