I would say we're the new hotness in SA right now. Lots of UTSA talk. People asking about UTSA when they see me with gear on. Saturday was the best gameday scene we've had in several years. The tailgate scene was rocking and so was the dome. It's a lot of fun right now.

Hell, we even had Bryn Forbes from the Spurs on the field during the game. The city is really getting behind this team.

Heck yeah...that's what I'm talking about. UTSA was a sleeping giant and starting to wake up.

As much as I hate to admit it the Ootsa's have everything in their favor. For one, San Antonio is a tourist destination and with that could garner people to visit and enjoy the game as well. Even though I'm not impressed with your indoor stadium architecture at least fans won't have to worry about inclement weather. The school is pretty large and should the students get into the spirit of the team it wouldn't be hard to fill up your barn at every game. The mwc would be a good landing spot for your school because it almost dead smack in the middle of the state and that's what (supposedly) the mwc is looking for. The only thing that UTEP offers is the fact that we play in the Sun Bowl and that looks fine on television, they wouldn't even care about our Tier One academics.

I'm thinking that the next school in the mwc will be you and I'm jealous because I would love to play the schools in the mwc instead of the schools in the eastern seaboard who no one in el paso even know about. If you would ask regular people what city such and such school in cusa was located most wouldn't know and that's not their fault either. But, if you asked where the schools in the mwc were located most would know.

Another byproduct of the Traylor Effect...

UTSA is 2nd only to Army for fewest penalties per game, at 3.57. Army averages 3.50.

We average that by the 10 min mark of the first quarter

Being ranked AND the AAC news? Could this be the biggest day in UTSA football's history?
