Time to move on
As much as the NIU loss still hurts, we still have a long season to go with CMU on the not so distant horizon. Hopefully, the same UT team that played Notre Dame will be the same team that shows up at CMU.
GO ROCKETS !! See you in Mt. Pleasant.

I think the MAC this year is the most inconsistent league I have seen in a long time. Many teams get up for a game or two including NIU against GT, Toledo against ND, and BG against Minn, but many times each team including NIU and Toledo just play terribly to the point that I dont even recognize the same teams. That being said, those same appointments overall played poorly as well and gave all three MAC teams a chance to win.

RE: Time to move on
The newest depth chart (dated October 11) answers the often asked question of who will be the starting QB v CMU. The answer: Bradley or Quinn. Maybe this is a fake out and Gleason will start, but I sure doubt it.

I wonder if the pandemic really set back player development

Not for CSU and NIU.

We have seen a lot of development on the defensive side of the ball in two years. The offense is killing us. We hit a couple big plays a game. Footbal games are won on 3rd down. When our Defense was bad, we could never get off the field on 3rd down. Now our offense can convert 3rd downs and stay on the field. Can only imagine how much better our D would be if we had an offense that could sustain drives.

Best season recently for 3rd down conversion was 2015-16. Rockets were #15 nationally. MAC Championship year they were #77. Now #105. On the defensive side of the FB, #75 in 2015, #27 2017, and presently #38.
