15 minutes with no traffic from the coast doesn't qualify as coastal now. The reaching is becoming insane at this point.

I don't think I've ever witnessed this much whining about another team in my life. I'm just envisioning some of these people just stomping around their house screaming and madly refreshing this page to see what's posted next. This is some of the best entertainment.

Really? From what I've witnessed over the years, I'm pretty sure there's an assumption that whining about another team is why God made college sports message boards.

Oh I agree, but this thread is definitely a new level. I mean, I'm sure there's threads on everyone's home boards about hating another team and how stupid their fans are, but this tread is just a different level. It's fascinating to see some fans that just seem consumed with hate and can't wait for the other person to respond so they can shoot back.

I got that same message for the same “offense”. You can hold your breath on our name though, I’ve been told that mods will not police what others choose to call our school.

Agreed. I want 2-3 teams ranked every year if we are able to get that much respect as a league. It’s great for the entire conference, but Coastal’s fans are hard to deal with.

Correct. When Troy was ranked, everyone here was excited. When App carried the banner the support was largely the same. The Cajuns too.

So if the same is not reciprocated for Costal, maybe there’s something driving that. I wonder what it could be that makes all the other school fanbases dislike Coastal but applaud the Troy/App/Louisianas. Hmmm.
