RE: Week 6 Power Rankings
1. Texas State - Came back from 31-17 deficit in the fourth to win in the new stupid 2-point OT 33-31 after forcing a fumble in a certain death situation. They beat a team who had Louisiana beat. Perhaps Texas State's P5 conglomeration is finally gelling?

2. Georgia State - Bounced back from the loss against App to beat ULM as bad a Coastal did. So GSU is as good as Coastal!
2b. Coastal - Has beat up on a weak schedule, playing the easiest schedule in FBS and the Sun Belt. We don't much know who they are other than that they can score against bad defenses. Were forunate that Arkansas State had butter fingers in the first half, otherwise that game may be a little too close for comfort.

4. Louisiana - Beat the bye week and undoubtedly practiced very hard.
4b. App State - See above

6. Troy - Held off a game long rally from Georgia Southern who think that handing the ball off in a heavy formation when everyone knows you are going to run and don't use any form of misfdirection is acceptable in 2021.

7. Georgia Southern - Arkansas State game was a misnomer; the offensive staff in Statesboro needs a change. The defense is fine, they just need help

8. South Alabama - Another late game collapse. This is beginning to look like a trend.

9. Arkansas State - Defense is bad, offense needs guys to make plays when given the opportunity

10. ULM - No offense, no defense. Hope Bowden is on the 5-year plan because that's what it's going to take.

RE: Week 6 Power Rankings
I want to say we are better than our 2-4 record. I’d cite coming within literal inches of beating Auburn. I’d also cite Army, UNC and App State being formidable teams and understandable losses.

But if I said that, we would lose…for certain…by 30+ points in our next game. So I’m definitely not saying that.

Agree with that with the exception of UNC.

1. It looks like you live probably 4 miles from me and I've probably seen you around PG

2. UNC is a conundrum, for sure, but they've played out of their minds in two games this year while doing the opposite for the others. Not a UNC fan, but they are very jeckyl and hyde right now.

Haha, if you see a vehicle in PG or Randolph Co. with a Yosef Club or Yosef sticker on the back left, there's a good chance it's me or someone from my household! You are absolutely right about Chapel Hill and I love seeing them suffer through another mediocre season!

I believe you're the guy that said the other day that you live 60 miles as the crow flies from Patrick Henry's birthplace. PG/High Point/the Triad is a heck of a lot further away than that.
