When the AAC receives the letter regarding conference realignment from Judy / CUSA they will think it is some type of joke and laugh their asses off like crazy. Then someone in the AAC office will remind them how clueless and inept Judy is and that CUSA is serious about this and they will again laugh their asses off like crazy. Judy / CUSA look foolish and desperate sending this letter to the AAC.

I don’t know why they would be laughing. All of their value is getting scrounge by the leftover not wanted toys of the P5. Who will soon be all the way left out. They are running on perception only. That may be, but they’re still the biggest G5/P6 (if you prefer) on the block . . .

We get why CUSA would like this marriage, but why would the aac go along with it? Seems like they have more to lose tying themselves to Judy . . .

The real question is which of the two new conferences gets ESPN and which gets Facebook??

I wish UAB, UTSA, Marshall, and Charlotte would all tell them to go screw themselves. Force the AAC's hand. Their conference is nothing but a bunch of private schools and Memphis now. I don't think it's worth joining as it is.

Nah. The “real question” is which one of the two new conferences gets Judy’s toy jeep. Only after the toy jeep issue is decided do we worry about which conference gets ESPN and which one gets Facebook.

For basketball its not good, the eastern based one. If we can swap out ECU for Wichita, all for it.

I imagine they’re the school with the most to benefit from being in a more regional western based conference, as long as the competition is solid
