Good publicity. We just need to do our part Tuesday to setup a big time matchup on Oct 20.

I’ll take all the Kool-Aid, y’all be jelly. Never heard any such Marty & McGee, McAfee, GameDay, Corso/Davis/Herbstreit/Pollack love for any of you. I’m losing sleep for y’all.

SHOULD we lose one this year, especially to App St, it’ll soothe the wounds greatly to hear them all talk about OUR stumble, and NOT Appy’s quality win.

Smooches.
We'll beat App in Boone. Calling it now.

I’m not getting involved in any argument, or even any discussion other than to say “drinking the kool aid” originated with the Jonestown mass suicide. The people were lead to falsely believe they were living in a utopia by a false prophet. When the US gov got onto some of the whacky stuff going on, the false prophet convinced them to “drink the kool aid” and kill themselves. In other words “drinking the kool aid” leads to suffering. Not saying the App fan meant anything negative by it, but “drinking the kool aid” isn’t meant to be a positive thing.

Not-fun fact. It was Flavor Aid.

DP was hyping CCU as well but all agreed the schedule strength is not good enough for the access bowl. GS is certainly not helping that. SMU or Cincy definitely going in over but I think CCU over SDSU or UTSA.

Absolutely correct. It's just that it got caught up with Tom Wolfe's Electric Kool Aid Acid test, and there we are.

Pop culture gets so much wrong. Like:

"Luke, I'm your father"
"Play it again, Sam"
etc.

Smooches.

Y'all beat Kansas badly twice now. That's the difference. App loses in OT to Top 10 teams, beats UNC and USC in tight games, but Coastal blasted a Big 12 team. The comparative ratings of these opponents aren't important to the talking heads so they don't mention them.

You beat a P5 team three times and twice by a large margin, they will bow down. Doesn't matter that the P5 team wouldn't win the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Here is a quote from ragin4u on another thread, "To be fair, App has owned us. We have a ways to go for bragging rights. I would like to take another step in that direction tonight, though!!" This is how most App fans approached 2014, 2015, and 2016 as well until the winning continued. This quote, along with some fans approach that's antithetical to this, is largely why you see a consolidation of hope that App beats Coastal Wednesday when it would probably be better for the conference if that didn't happen.
