Old Dominion 1-4 (0-1) @ Marshall 2-3 (0-1) - The loss in Murfreesboro was somewhat of a shocker but the Thundering Herd did outgain the home team by 179 yards and had 6 turnovers so I do believe they turn things around this weekend in Huntington. Marshall 45 ODU 27

FAU 3-2 (1-0) @ UAB 3-2 (1-0) - Malik Willis help Liberty break in the new stadium in Birmingham much to the chagrin of the Blazer faithful and now the FAU Owls fly into town. This game has the earmarks of going to the wire. I want to pick FAU after they dominated FIU but depends on the UAB QB situation. FAU 35 UAB 27

Middle Tennessee 2-3 (1-2) @ Liberty 4-1 - Liberty once again looks solid at 4-1 but did lose to a very average Syracuse team. I think MTSU keeps this closer than the odds makers expect but the Flames win at home. Liberty 41 MTSU 31

UNT 1-3 (0-2) @ Missouri 2-3 (0-2) - If you could draw an SEC opponent out of a hat for 2021 Missouri might bring a smile to your face considering their only wins are over an FCS team and by 10 over Central Michigan but this North Texas team, despite making the La Tech fans nervous has not been very good, therefore taking the Tigers at home. Missouri 38 North Texas 24

UTEP 4-1 (1-0) @ Southern Miss 1-4 (0-1) - UTEP is sitting tall at 4-1 but a schedule ranked 189th by Sagarin makes this game a toss up. I'm sure the Southern Miss fans are upset by the losses to Troy and USA both being near by but a loss to the Miners would be a tough pill to swallow considering how bad they have been of late. 4 interceptions and losing to Rice on the road, by only 5, is a good sign. I think the Eagles right the ship the weekend in Hattiesburg. USM 31 UTEP 28

UTSA 5-0 (1-0) @ Western Kentucky 1-3 (0-0) - The Road Runners are 5-0 and look to be the class of the western side of the conference while WKU has only one win over an FCS team at that. That seals it, UTSA in a cake walk, but wait this Topper team has played a solid schedule and has put up some impressive numbers. The Topper defense is suspect but the offense has been stellar. UTSA has been solid on both sides of the ball. Since the game is in Bowling Green look for the yards to pile up by both squads. WKU 51 UTSA 42.
