RE: Cajuns Receives $2 Million Gift for Stadium Renovations
Ooops. I did want to add that the CF upgrade still leaves about 2/3 left to be done. Both sides of the lower bowl will need to be redone eventually.

WHAT!!!! Man, that drives me and a whole lot of others nuts too. Some background on that is that before the SEZ was bowled in we added ‘wings’ on the east side. When seats were added to SEZ they blended in so it’s not noticeable. However, since the NEZ is not bowled in that extra set of seats sticks out like fingers on a chalk board. Esp for peeps slightly OCD like me.
And the whole thing about what to do about the NEZ, aka the hill, or the levee, is a hotly debated subject as you can prob imagine. Kids LOVE to play on it, and it’s great overflow space esp for families so not sure how it’d go over if that went away.

Still much better than what they have in Ruston. I want to take that stadium to the orthodontist.
Or slap it like it's a manual typewriter.

Cajun Field Renovations
Looks good. Really like outside seating for the suites. IMO, that's one thing we dropped the ball on.

The upper level seating did mirror those in the opposite end, but were torn down when they built that building a few years back.

That was in the renderings. They will add a section to the lower bowl to make it symmetrical. Or at least that’s what I’ve been told.

The example drawings are just conceptual renderings. The actual archetectual plans have not yet been done, but it will be great. I expect it to closely resemble to facade of the baseball and softball fields, which are almost new and beautiful. (BTW. baseball seats about 4300 and softball seats 2790.) The new football stadium will really tie the athletic complex together, especially when the Cox building is gone.
Exciting times ahead.

I figured, but it still kills my OCD.
