Toledo men's basketball ready to build on last season's MAC championship
Good coverage by Briggs. Nothing new here really. Edu out indefinitely. RayJ appears as a good fit. Good overview of the new players but no mention of the Arnor The Ice Man by Rowland or TK.

The group of freshmen UT brings in this season could be the best recruiting class of Kowalczyk’s tenure and perhaps the most prepared to play from Day 1. Forward Kooper Jacobi, guards Elijah Wilson and E.J. Farmer, and center Mihai Carcoana arrived on campus in the summer. Four months later, they’ve entrenched themselves in a rotation that could go 10-deep.

“We have a lot of talented freshmen, and a lot of freshmen who will certainly see some good playing time,” Kowalczyk said. “Very impressed. A lot of different qualities. You have Kooper Jacobi, he’s one of those guys that’s going to make the coaches play him. He’s talented, but he’s an intangible guy. He plays unbelievably hard. Mihai brings a size lament that we need, especially with AJ’s injury. And then you have Elijah Wilson and E.J. Farmer, really talented wing players. They have opportunities to have really good careers for us.”

I just don’t see how you win the MAC tourney with one guy over 6-7…

Get three guys over 6-7. :)

It is hard to imagine. None of ours have shown any concern going into the trees but certainly am concerned about defense over the top and wearing down fighting talls all game all season for RBs.

I don't know if a college kid/team wears down over 30 games from giving up some size in the post. Could make a similar argument that lots of fast skilled small-mid sized players wear down opponents with motion, movement and energy. I think the key is having enough depth to play a high energy style at a consistent pace. You can't play small and tired. The reality is we only have one big guy and he's likely a part time rotation guy at best. The key is to keep all the core guys healthy and have a deep enough rotation. I'll add some more thoughts on the other bball thread.

K doesn't play depth. He'd play four if they'd let him.
