Looks like about 4 good games that day. I hope with B12 money we can stop many of these buy games.

Is it just me, or does it seem like a lot of the P5 are on the road at G5 stadiums. Oklahoma at Tulane etc.

We also play Indiana at home in 2022. At least we're not on the road against Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, et al.

I hope we are getting VERY good money if Arkansas is not returning the visit.

I mean, how many decades has it been since anyone has heard of Arkansas football?

Definitely been a rough patch since Petrino though to say the least.

Thanks for that link. I'm sure schedules for 2023 and beyond may change substantially depending upon how many conference games the B12 settles on. Also, pending the B12's future media deal, I'm hoping, if UC remains a consistent top 25 program, that TV facilitates some more headliner matchups for the 'Cats, replacing games @ MAC campuses?

Honestly, it’s a game I wish UC could get out of.

My son graduated from Arkansas a while back when that former loserville coach was there. Been there many times but it is a long drive (10 1/2 to 11 hours). Fayetteville and the surrounding areas have much to see and do. There is a grilled cheese restaurant that imho is vastly superior to Tom and Chee. Great steak house north of campus as well. Chrystal Bridges is enjoyable museum. Also have a pic of my dad pretending to urinate on the sign to the Clinton's house. Anyways I digress. I see this game as a way to legitimize the program. Playing a SEC school that, at least for now, is ranked. Has had a somewhat notable record in the past and a former B12 school. I'd rather play this game then say Murray State.

I had forgotten about this game. Evan Prater if he is QB1, will have be greeted college football, a little more rougher than previous UC quarterbacks.

TBH, I am more concerned about all of our loses on the defensive side of the ball than Prater. The offensive will have the entire offensive line and most of the skill positions back. On defense will lose all the DL starters, 2/3rds is the LB, both corners and safeties. Yes, we have done good 1Bs who will step up as starters but the depth behind them will be mostly unproven.

Yep, my concern will be with a much less experienced defense early next year too. That environment will, arguably, be more hostile than IU and we saw the impact that had early on a senior rich UC team last Saturday.

With that said, I think it's a game to be excited about--an early test for a younger but talented team and our program which is P5 bound. Let's hope UC can put an exclamation point on this current season prior to rebuilding next year.

My friends Bubba and Hillhag sold that place. They really don't like associating with those Bible Beaters and gun carrying Despicable people.
